This coming month, July, is National Diabetes
Week. Pearl Cove library invite you to come to our Human Living Library Event.
Diabetes is a worldwide problem. Come and learn how diabetes affect our “Living
Books” and how they keep it under control.

1:00 pm. Including 2 sessions of borrowing. Refreshment is served in between sessions.
Cost: $10/ person.
Registration through our Pearl Cove Council website www.pearlcove.nsw.gov.au, or fill out the “Registration to Attend” from the
Pearl Cove Daily and drop off at our library administration desk.

Ms Donna Ah Chee: from National Diabetes Strategy Advisory Group.
Maggie Wong: Diabetes educator and career for her 6 years old with type 1.
Elly-May Smith: type 1, Chronic childhood condition.
Tim Wang: diagnosed with type 2.
Marlee Anaywan: pre-diabetes.
Maha Halteh: gestational diabetes.
Pearl Room can only hold up to 50 guests so Register
your place today.
We
strongly recommend attendees are teenagers and older. Our library policy cannot
have children unattended and library staffs are not responsible to supervise
children of 12 years old or under.
Refreshment
includes items of gluten free, nut free and dairy free. Look out for labels
and talk to our staffs if you have any concern.
