What is a Human Living Library?

A Human Living Library is where you can 'borrow' out people to learn about their walk of life and their experiences. You can also ask questions pertaining to their experiences to learn more about what they do and understand them more.

The living books that have been brought in for the event are people related to the video game industry and popular streamers who have based their lives around streaming video games for a living.

More information about what Human Living Libraries can be found by here: https://www.humanlibraryaus.org/

Level Up will bring the opportunity for you and your children to learn the inner workings of the video game industry and also streaming video games as a full time job. We are also hosting the event on National Video Game Day in which we can come together and celebrate the milestones that video games have brought into this world.

Where: Pearl Room, Pearl Cove Library

When: 11:00 am - 1:30 pm, Saturday 12th of September

Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for students and elderly and children under 13 will come in for free

Bookings can be made on EventBrite by clicking on this link
There is a limit of how many people can attend the event so book quickly

Sessions for each book will last for 30 minutes in which we will then rotate each group so that everyone gets a chance to talk and ask questions to each of our esteemed guests. A total of 4 sessions for each guest will be conducted throughout the event. There will also be time after the event finishes for a small meet and greet with the books if there is enough time. Refreshments will be offered and there will be options if you have any dietary requirements
