Your Mob, Our Mob

Imagine the resources we have available in our community!
Not from books but from people!!
This coming July, during NAIDOC Week, Pearl Cove Library will be holding it's first Human Living Library Event.
Instead of borrowing a book, come and spend some time with our 'living libraries'.
This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the experiences and knowledge of members of our indigenous community.

We are pleased to announce our 'living books' will be:
> Dharawal elder Lorraine Brown, an artist at Coomaditichie United Aboriginal Corporation
> Yuin elder and historian Noel Butler,
> Adelaide Wenberg, who was a member of the Stolen Generation, and
> Aboriginal elder Uncle Willie Dixon, who was also a member of the Stolen Generation.

2 to 5pm, Friday 17th July, 2020 (NAIDOC Week)
The Pearl Room, Pearl Cove Library
This event is FREE but space is limited
Book through Everbrite to secure your place
For more information, please call 5555 7777 or email nancy@pearlcovelibrary.org.au
A light afternoon tea will be served
