ASK AN ATHEIST


Ask An Atheist is a special Human Living Library event that will be held on International Skeptics day, October 14th, 2019 from 3-7pm at the Pearl Cove Library. 

The aim of Human Living Libraries is to promote inclusiveness, break stereo types and educate people by having “books” which are represented by groups people whom are in marginalised, minority, stigmatised communities or groups that may be affected by lesser known issues.

Everyone is welcome to attend this event, although bookings are essential. The aim of the event being to break the stigmas that people of faith may hold about the morality/ethics of people within skeptic/atheist communities.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Our Books:

 Steven Bradshaw: Steven is a humanist whom grew up with no religion in his life. He is married to a devout catholic woman.


Elijah Creek: Elijah is a former Baptist paster who now calls himself an atheist.


Majid Anwar: Majid is a Pakistan born former Muslim and ex Islamist. He is an author of many books promoting humanism and critical thinking.


Rachel Roberts: Rachel is an atheist indigenous Australian lawyer focused on fighting for social equity and civil rights.
