What is a Living Library?
A Living Library is where you, as the reader, borrow a 'book' about a certain topic. This 'book' doesn't have pages, it's a person who has a large amount of knowledge on the subject they are talking about. The 'books' available on the day come from different backgrounds and have become vegan for a variety of reasons, such as Animal Cruelty, Environmental Issues or Health Issues.Meet our 'books'

How can a vegan diet help the planet?
Much of the world's air pollution comes from animal agriculture through gas emissions, deforestation and water pollution. Mean and dairy production uses 83% of farmland and produces 60% of greenhouse gas emissions. Vegan, or plant-based diets, has the greatest potential of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Going vegan can help save the planet.
How can a vegan diet help you?
Eating only plant-based food can assist with Type 2 Diabetes, lower risk of heart disease, promote weight loss and is richer in certain nutrients.
