We need to talk about youth mental health

                    MAGIC MENTAL HEALTH

“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candour, more unashamed conversation.” Glenn Close

Magic Mental Health is an important Human Living Library event that will take place on World Mental Health Day, 10/10/2019 from 12 pm-3:50 pm at Pearl Cove Library in The Pearl Room.

The purpose of Human Living Libraries is to expose the community to different people they may not otherwise interact with, share new perspectives, lessen prejudice and develop a better understanding of others. Young people are encouraged to attend this event (12-25) and bookings are essential.

The purpose of the event is to talk openly about mental health with compassion and without judgement. The more we talk about mental health, the more we lessen the stigma surrounding this universal, non-discriminatory issue.

Light refreshments will be provided.
