Pearl Cove Smart Culture Day

Pearl Cove Smart Culture Day
Human Library is coming to Pearl Cove to celebrate Harmony Day

Venue: Pearl Cove Library - Cove Meeting Room
Time and Date: 9:30am – 12:30pm Friday March 20th 2020
If you are interested in one or more topics list below, please visit our Human Library event:
  • What is Pearl Cove culture and what are the unique elements?
  • How to tackle the stereotype and prejudices and embrace diversity within a community to strengthen people’s awareness of cultural diversity and acceptance?
  • What are the opportunities in art and cultural industry to develop Smart, innovative and sustainable Economy?

In the event, you will have the opportunity to ‘read’ the ‘books’ as to their own journeys from being indigenous, refugee, low-educated or unemployed to be re-recognised and become an important part of the cultural development force in Pearl Cove. These ‘books’ were seen as different culturally or socially at the beginning, but through their own effort, they are able to break the stereotype and connect closely with all communities and more importantly, they are able to come up with their own understanding of Pearl Cove culture and share this with you.
