 GrandFamilies Day!🌳

We invite you to celebrate National Grandparents Day and also National Children's Week the last week of October 2020 (https://www.childrensweek.org.au/).

For the 1st time ever in Pearl Cove, Children can come to the library and read a “Human Living Book“ Local Senior Volunteers, telling their stories and answering some questions. 

Have any children who would like to come? 

Who? Human Books being “Grandparents for the day” telling stories

For whom? Have a child who would like someone who is like a Grandparent to tell them some stories, are you a child and want someone older to tell you some amazing stories? This is for you!

What? Human book sessions (30 minutes each session)

When? 4pm-7:30pm, 30th October 

🍎light after school refreshments provided for all. 

🌱please indicate on the form any dietary requirements

🌏We encourage you to BYO plates, cup & cutlery 

to reduce plastic wastage

Where? Pearl Cove Library, Main Branch

🌞Courtyard if Sunny weather- initiative of power saving and an environmentally sustainable Pearl Cove,

💧☔Pearl Room and Cove Meeting Room if Wet weather on the day.

Why? Because this can be a fun family friendly experience! The question is, why not?

*There will be Photographers at this event, if you/your child are not comfortable being photographed on the day, please indicate so on the form or tell us. 

** Please note that if your child is under 15 years old, you must be available to supervise them on the day, as our library policy strongly discourages unsupervised young children on the premises. 💗
