Making your community a home - Meet your LGBTQ+ neighbours.

Have a talk with the folk that are putting an end to homelessness in our LGBTQ+ youth. Meet and check out our "Living Books" who will talk about their experience with LGBTQ+ homelessness and what we can do to reduce it's prevalence in our streets.
Tea and biscuits will be provided while you engage in conversation.

Meet our books:
Jay McGrath – Indigenous Australian who faced homelessness as a teen due to coming out as gay.
Amy Harper – Counsellor at twenty10, a Sydney based service that provides housing and counselling support for LGBT youth.
Noah White – head of the community homelessness outreach at Pearl Cove Community Centre
Miranda Noel – LGBT activist and volunteer at Pearl Cove Community Centre

Learn more about twenty10.

When: 7/6/2019 from 11:00a.m. - 5:30p.m.
Where: Pearl Cove Council Meeting Room

Please book through the Pearl Cove Library website
