Attend Pearl Cove Library's "Human Living Library' where people become books!
Visitors will be able to ‘borrow’, engage with and learn from the ‘books’, an intimate and personal conversation can be had between visitors and ‘Books’.
This event is an opportunity for visitors to connect with people that they wouldn’t normally speak with in their community, to better understand life experiences of others and challenge their own personal assumptions, prejudices and stereotypes.
The theme of our ‘Human Living Library’ is Disability, a general discussion highlighting all types of disability’s, the issues that surround them and how to overcome the stigma of being labelled disabled.
