Men's Mental Health - Dealing With The Challenges Of Becoming (And Being) An Adult

What is it?

The new event coming to Pearl Cove Library, Men's Mental Health is focused on a topic that is often neglected in today's society. We've partnered with Human Living Libraries to bring in those who have dealt with issues such as depression, suicide, and more to help you deal with them as well.

Don't hesitate to come!

Whether you're the one dealing with these issues or a friend, don't feel afraid to give this event a try. No one will judge you, and we're all here to help. You don't have to feel left behind, or let your emotions and issues stew. Listen to others, and come out of it ready to tackle any problems you face!

Our "Books"

1. Minjarra, an Aboriginal advocate who has experience dealing with issues such as depression.

2. Bill, a speaker from BeyondBlue who has helped many people of all ages with mental health issues.

3. Dylan, member of the Movember Foundation with training in suicide prevention.

4. Alex, Outspoken advocate against suicide after attempting it himself.
