Breaking Stigma: World Eating Disorders Action Day



Pearl Cove Library is hosting a special event in line with World Eating Disorders Action Day. This years theme is breaking stigma, and so we invite you to come and speak with our "living books". These are members of our community who have been effected by an eating disorder.  



Our "living books" are;

Alice Johnson, an indigenous woman in recovery

Matthew Turner, a young man in recovery

Tim Parker, a father who lost his daughter to anorexia

Grace Brooks, eating disorders campaigner
