"A conversation could change a life." from

What is a human library?

Modern people are getting more and more accustomed to virtual life rather than real life and the communication between people is getting more and more distant. Human Library is an educational event that used to promotes real conversation between people, increasing encourage understanding among people with differences and diversities such as culture, lifestyle, physical condition, etc. Also it helps to reduce bias, eliminate stereotype and discrimination between different groups, break down the barrier between people and enhances people’s sense of security and belonging to the community, which is the most direct feeling that we can’t get from reading paper books.
