BDSM = SSC
Get Your Kink On

Source (NSFW content warning)

Hey there, chances are you've heard of something called BDSM. Chances are you know that it stands for Bondage Domination Sadism and Masochism. But then there's also the chance that you have no idea what it is beyond those labels, let alone what SSC means, you may even have some misgivings about it all even though you barley have a clue on what it is. Whatever your story, we at Pearl Cove Library believe that everyone (within the legal age group where applicable) should have the chance to be educated on all the interesting things the world has to offer. For some of your own research, head over to Red Light Australia.

Human Living Library

A Human Living Library is an event that libraries hold to help members of their community educate others of the community on their way of life. In the past libraries have held events for the LGBTQAI+ community, for people living with anxiety, depression, PTSD, Autism and so much more. But this year, we at Pearl Cove wanted to do something a little less...conventional. For more information on Human Living Libraries and the history of the event, here's some further reading.

Our "Books"

For obvious reasons, our books would like to remain anonymous until you meet them. But we can tell you that we have a wide range of titles to choose from: a Dom, a Sub, a Switch (someone who easily falls into either of the previously mentioned roles) and even the owner of our local BDSM club, The Pearl. Some are even part of the Aboriginal Community as well as the LGBTQAI+ Community. All of them willing to give their stories and knowledge to those seeking it.
