What to plant now?

In Australia, September is in thriving spring; while in Northern Hemisphere, September is their crop harvest season. We proudly invite representatives from migration families, local farmers and agriculture expert to join this event and share their knowledge about planting and agricultural products!

This event is one of Peal Cove Library's Human Library activities. This time our human books will exchange their understandings and feelings about the earth, the farm and everything grew from the earth. We hope it can help the build a strong relationship between the new migrants and our beautiful Pearl Cove community.

What will you get:
1. Learning exotic agriculture knowledge;
2. Some interesting facts about our local farming;
3. How to pick good fruits/vegetables from market;
4. Some tricks of vegetable BBQ;

What will you do:
1. Tasting fresh local fruits!
2. BBQ fresh vegetables with other attendants.

In order to help with the event preparation, please reserve your spot by email us, or tell us at the library counter directly.
