How to Commit a Crime Book
Come and met the famous writers John le Carre and Alan Bradley.
Come along to Pearl Cove Library to an evening
devoted to crime writing and real-life crime. This is an event where the
community of Pearl Cove, whether you are young or old, can discuss the art of
writing a crime novel. This is achieved by discussions with famous and engaging
crime writers. You as the audience can participate and ask questions throughout
the discussions. After this, you
are encouraged to help a forensic scientist solve
a (fictional) crime. Some of the topics that will be covered include looking
at why people commit crimes including espionage, how and why people get caught,
how people escape justice and some examples of well-known and bizarre crimes
committed in the past can be explored.

I like the name of your event. I imagine a lot of research would be done by the authors to write a crime novel.
