Pearl Cove Lover’s Library - Love for Pearl Cove’s Books

Pearl Cove Library

Valentine’s Day Event
Love for Pearl Cove’s Books

Thursday 14 Feb 2017 11:30 am – 7:30 pm
Pearl Cove Library, 23 Rockwell Dr, Pearl Cove Room

Celebrate our yearly event at the Pearl Cove Library with its’ wonderful diversity and our love of learning and literature. Members of the living library will discuss the importance of celebrating Lover’s Library on Valentine’s Day, share the books that mean most to them and discuss how universal themes in books connect us to each other . The love of books and the event itself are what brings us together as a community and what shapes our desires to learn, inspire and love. We also come together because of the influence that books have on us and even though we are of different backgrounds, we are connected through the Library and our love of books.

Booking Event: Free
Sausage Sizzle: $3

Guests can also dine in and enjoy our selection of desserts. Drinks will be supplied, as well as coffee in between speaker sessions. Everyone is welcome. Library and community members can bring their friends and discover the many qualities of Pearl Cove Library and why we strive to be the centre of different cultures and customs. While enjoying the day, anyone who would like to become a Library member can sign up on the day.

  1. This is really cute! It is interesting how we both did Valentines Day events but did them very differently- yours is about loving books, mine is about loving people. Good idea with the sausage sizzle too, charging a bit for a sanga would be a good way to minimise costs for the event :)
