Do you know an adult who has struggled with reading and writing throughout their life? Bring them along to this special event so they can talk with others who have been in the same position. Meet some members of our “human living library” who are available to discuss their own hardship and success with literacy. Learn more about human living libraries
Illiteracy affects many adults in our society and they often
feel embarrassment, low self-worth and have no idea about how to access help. Some
rely heavily on family and friends to help them get by in our highly literate world.
This event will let those who are struggling with illiteracy know that there is
help available.
