Harmonise on Harmony Day

Check out a living book and learn more about different cultures!

When: March 21st

Where: Inside Pearl Cove Library (Pearl Cove Room)

Time: 11:00am-1:00pm

Cost: FREE

Dress code: Please come in your cultural attire.

To celebrate harmony day, Pearl cove library is hosting a human living library event featuring human books from different cultures that you can register to talk with. Just like a book, these humans will be available to be borrowed for a 15 minute session, engaged with and learned from. 

On the day, expect to see special guest Ahn Do as a living book, aboriginal elder Jenny Munro, talks about the significance of diversity in Australia, book stands dedicated to travel and culture and performances from different cultural youth groups. There will also be an array of indulging canapés and finger food from around the world for you to enjoy. Get dressed up and celebrate diversity by sharing this experience with family and friends.

Look out for staff in orange uniform on the day for any enquires.
