We welcome all the Pear Cove residents to join us for this special event "Harmony day" at Pearl Cove Library. The program is held in conjunction with Pearl Cove Council to provide you with an opportunities to borrow the living book. Our aim is to welcome new immigrants to Australia and break the stereotype; it is a land of whites and only new migrants have to face the problems in this country etc. Our books are the experts in their area of Human rights, Arts and Culture, advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and are also the prime example of immigrant of this nation who have their succeeded and broken down this stereotype.

Come and Join this special events with us and let's look with our new pair of glasses in 2020 and discover the possibility at Pearl Cove Library. 

Books can be borrowed for 20 mins only.

Part of the exciting and life-changing Human Living Libraries concept that has crossed the globe, four “Living Books” are here to share their diverse stories of both struggle and triumph in the world of work. Come join us in unique conversations that break down stereotypes to encourage empathy and connection with different points of view. For 15 minutes, ‘borrow’ a Living Book to ask questions, share stories, and be inspired.
